David Chandler explains how KT Hydraulics, formally the UK division of Kracht, have been members of the Chamber for years. “We have always found networking in the local area useful for establishing and maintaining relationships with local businesses as we want to work with Yorkshire suppliers wherever possible.”
Veronica tells us how she gets the most out of Mid Yorkshire Chamber membership "It is vital that local businesses support each other and the Chamber connects businesses, giving us a stronger voice as a collective unit. If you want to be part of the business community you should be part of your local Chamber and you need to invest effort to reap rewards."
Gemma described the importance of Chamber membership and the advice and expertise on offer through MY Export Hub "it’s definitely important to us with the export documents that we do, and it also lets us access the information that we need for each country. There are always people that we can call to provide us with all the information we need to be able to help and advise our customers as well."
Gordon told us how he benefits from the Chamber’s MY Export Hub in various ways "the Chamber plays a significant role in helping us with documentation, and with advice and expertise on new markets we may pursue’ he went on to explain that ‘there is a variety of useful events and training sessions on offer and we are able to cherry pick the necessary ones significant to our needs."
The Hospice has been a Chamber member for three years and Jason described the benefits. “We are part of the community that the Chamber serves; we mirror the same areas of contact throughout Mid Yorkshire, supporting us in getting known within the business community. The areas I’ve been mostly successful in are the Chamber events; 60 Useful Minutes, MY Network and Last Friday Club have all been a great help to the charity.”
