Batley firm secures Business of the Month

Clear Image MMS Ltd was founded in 1997 by Neil Smith. A former Detective Sergeant with West Yorkshire Police, Neil left the forces after 16 years of service to set up his own security business.

Over the years the business has evolved and it now offers a complete range of electronic security services. The company provides monitoring, maintenance and security solutions to a wide range of businesses and organisations - from stately homes to shopping centres.

Clear Image has maintained a permanent presence in Kirklees and remains committed to the Yorkshire region, in spite of International expansion. The company are proud of their ‘heartland’ and count many Yorkshire businesses and institutions among their valued customers, including the University of Huddersfield, Nostell Estate and Kirklees MBC to name but a few. This commitment extends to their role as an employer, generating a variety of job opportunities in the Kirklees area, and contributing to the up-skilling of their employees through the Clear Image Academy. Clear Image believe they have a commitment to the community in which they operate, and where possible use local services and supply companies to support the regional economy. They are also long-standing supporters of the Forget Me Not Trust children’s hospice in Huddersfield, and U Can Shine, a motivational coaching programme for children in Holmfirth.

Neil Smith, Group Managing Director said: “We’re delighted to have been recognised with this award.  Our team works very hard to drive innovation and deliver good customer service, and this helps to acknowledge their efforts. As a growing company we’re very proud to be flying the flag for Yorkshire, right across the UK.”

The Business of the Month Award is run in association with Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and Business Link. It is open to firms in Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
