MYMentor
Could you give a helping hand to someone who wants to start-up in business?
![]()
We’re looking for business people who can share their first-hand experience with someone who is about to take their first steps into self-employment.
The enterprise arm of Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is working with long-term job seekers who have a business idea but need help to get it off the ground.
We need volunteer mentors who can spare at least one hour every two weeks to guide someone as they write their business plan and support them during their first 26 weeks of trading.
Whether you're a sole-trader, business owner or experienced professional, your support could make a huge difference to someone who is starting out on their own.
To find out more about being a mentor, come along to one of our free introductory sessions on:
Wednesday 29 February at Holiday Inn off junction 40 of the M1, Leeds- Wakefield (WF5 9BE)
Wednesday 14 March at Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top, Huddersfield-Halifax (HD3 3RH)
Book your place early by phone 01924 786500 or email info@wyea.co.uk.
