We want your views, your concerns and your opinions on all the things that impact on business. Our position in local, regional and national affairs means that we represent you and lobby hard on your behalf.

Our Quarterly Economic Survey measures local levels of business activity and business confidence and is your chance to feed into powerful national statistics that really do alter Ministerial thinking and economic decisions.

On your behalf, we tell policy-makers exactly how it is and demand a response. It’s no accident that the Chamber of Commerce view is heard regularly on Radio 4 and on News at Ten because we are the voice of the business community – your voice.

We believe, of course, that great communication and dialogue is a two-way street and we provide Chamber members with regular economic updates and red tape reminders through our communication tools.

The QES tracks trends in various aspects of economic activity including domestic and export sales; past and future employment; recruitment issues; confidence in future turnover and profitability; etc.
