Welcome to the Chamber Blog
The Mid Yorkshire Chamber liaises with Local Authorities and Government organisations on many matters of concern to our membership throughout the Metropolitan areas of Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
We represent our members on numerous local and regional bodies, and consult with local and national government on a wide range of issues. These include proposed legislation and regulation, planning and a whole raft of other topics which impact on the economic wellbeing of our members in the region.
We provide a voice for the Chamber membership by lobbying constantly to obtain the best deal for business on the economy, taxation, transport, skills and on European Union issues. We understand business concerns about regulation and compliance, and we tell it like it is.
Why not take part in our online discussions by contributing to our business blog…?
