Yorkshire County Cricket Club
|
The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is the most successful club in the history of English cricket, boasting an incredible 34 county championships. Based at the iconic Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground, the club has a rich tradition of producing some of the best players ever to put on whites, including Sir Len Hutton, Herbert Sutcliffe, Fred Trueman, Brian Close, Ray Illingworth, Geoffrey Boycott and Michael Vaughan. This summer Headingley Carnegie will play host to yet another domestic season, with a young Yorkshire team brimming with home-grown talent. Put this together with a potentially explosive One Day International (featuring England and Sri Lanka) and you have a mouth-watering summer of cricket. |
